Our FIRST® LEGO® League team is a Girl Scout Team with girls in the 4-6th grade. We attend different schools within Brevard County and our members of different Girl Scout Troops. We love working together and having fun. We enjoy working hard and learning new things before tournaments and completing last-minute tasks.
With our hard work, we have competed in Central Florida's Qualifier and Regional Competition for the last two years. Our goal is to go to State or one of the invitational competitions this year.
Our Team Name C.A.K.E. B.A.T.T.E.R.S. stands for: Courageous, Adventurous, Krazy, Energetic, Brainy, Athletic, Terrific, Tolerant, Exciting, Radiant, Studious.
We have learned it is fun solving problems and programming the robot. We have learned to communicate with each other which creates a source of energy, while we are attentive to each other's ideas. We work really hard to not talk over each other while we are planning/practicing our activities. We find that by working as a team things work better and that we do not always have to agree with each other.
The 2023-2024 challenge is "Masterpiece," and we hope to work with our local community and develop a new art form.
The Future is Yours to Create

Here is an additional teaser video about the 2024-2025 challenge - "Submerged." We will be looking into the world below the surface of the water. Our oceans are more than what you can see on the horizon. Beneath the surface lies our planet’s most complex ecosystems, full of life and potential for exploration and learning, where each inhabitant has a role to play in building a thriving environment.
During the 2024-2025 FIRST season, FIRST® DIVE℠ presented by Qualcomm, teams will use their STEM and collaboration skills to explore life beneath the ocean's surface. Along the way, we’ll uncover the potential in each of us to strengthen our community and innovate for a better world with healthy oceans. Join us as we explore the future.
