We went to Mims Elementary School and talked to the kids about how our robot was built and then they made paper rotor motors. The kids learned a little aerodynamics.

We mentored at a Girl Scouts Robotics 101 Event. The girls learned about building and programming a NXT Robot. At the end of the day the girls could program their robot to complete an obstalce course.

Team Hurricane Awesomeness is making big news with there FLL Research Project. The project is to tackle a issue that occurrs before, during or after a "Hurricane". They pick the problem of "Loss of Power". Watch this video and see how they will tackle the issue!!!

The FIRST LEGO League (FLL) competition is now in session for the 2012-2013 year. This year's research project is all about our Seniors... hence this year's theme is "Senior Solution". The girls first need to find one or more seniors to be their partners in the research project. Once they have picked their senior they must interview this person(s) to determine issues they face everyday.
