For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology

We are Team F.R.E.N.C.H. F.R.I.E.S., an all girl - Girl Scout team in Central Florida. Currently we have 4 members and are always looking for girls in grades 7-12 interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM), Team Work, Gracious Professionalism, learning new things and more. Click here to let us know you would like to join us!! Click here to learn more about all the different program in FIRST.

So, you wonder why our Team Name is "F.R.E.N.C.H. F.R.I.E.S.",

well it is a result from naming our robot. Who's name started out as "French Fries Charles", but we finally ended up with "Prince Charles" after much discussion. The team wanted to keep the "French Fries" part of the name (and we love to eat them). So we made up the following acronym because we are Friendly, Reliable, Energetic, Nerdy, Classy, and Heroes. We first mapped the team member's names in the Fries but as the team changed the name has evolved to proFessional, gRacious, engIneering, tEamwork FIRST. June 2017 Jessica and Jessica graduated and we wish them the best as her new adventure of college begins (We will miss you!). The 2016-2017 team will consist of the following  Jazimine, Jessica, Nicole, Shelby, and Sophia. Click on the robot picture to learn more about the team's and Prince Charles's Journey!!

We are proud to anounce that we were awarded the "Connect" award at the Space Coast Championship in 2017. You can view our Engineering Notebook from the Florida FTC website here.  We would like to thank all our sponsors and we continue to strive to spread the word about FIRST!

The 2017-2018 Challenge has been announced and we are up for the Relic Recovery Challenge.

We love to come out and share our story and teach others about FIRST and it's mission. Please contact us by clicking here!!

Team Ranking and Awards

The FTC season has finished and we are proud to have recieved the "Think" Award for our Engineering Notebook and journey through the season. Our final ranking was that we were 7th in our League and 67th in the state. This is a great accomplishment as we finished the robot design for the last competition that was held in January of this year. The team will be expanding next year as we have 4 members bridging up from FLL (C.A.K.E. B.A.T.T.E.R.S.) Team. We are proud to have them join us.

The season coming up will be a great challenge as we will have a year behind us using cell phones to communicate between the robot and drivers.

A big thanks to our sponsors NASA, Lockheed Martin and Girl Scouts - Citrus Council.
