The local Girl Scouts ascended on Victory Village to share their thanks to the Veterans who are currently living there. These men and women have served our country and now need our help. For the past 5 years a lot of these girls have come out both at Thanksgiving and Christmas time to share what they can. Each Troop came bearing gifts of love and thanks in the form of kind word, cards and "Thanksgiving Dinner in a Bag". The girl, men, women and children look forward to this time a year knowing that at special surprise will be coming their way. The girls, leaders and parents from the following Troops came to help collect and distribute the food for 25 families:
A real big thanks to Troop 270 for helping with 4 dinners and Troop 1703 for helping out with 7 dinners and Publix for helping out in this "Take Action" project.
A Big Thanks to all. Please have a safe and joyous Thanksgiving Day.
