We are a FIRST®  Tech Challenge Team, and our team name is the F.R.E.N.C.H. F.R.I.E.S. We are an all-girl Girl Scout team in Central Florida. Currently, we have four members and are looking for Girl Scouts in grades 6-12 who are interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM), as well as teamwork, Gracious Professionalism, learning new things, and more. The 2025-2026 team will consist of the following: Brena,  Renee, and Vanessa. We are always looking for young women who would like to learn more about robots, interacting with others, building animation videos, and more.

 

We are proud to announce that in the 2024-2025 League Championship, we participated in the final six matches, and our team was the Captain of the 6th team. We were awarded the 1st Place Motivate Award. This year, our team will be celebrating 13 years!! You can view the 2024-2025 Engineering Portfolio by clicking HERE! 

 

At the 2023-2024 Leagur Championship we participated in the final four matches and were the fourth team captain. Additionally, we were awarded 3rd Place for the "Think" Award and 2nd Place for the Control Award again. We were part of the Finalist Alliance for the Space Coast League Championship in 2022. We were awarded 3rd Place for the "Think" Award, 2nd Place for the Innovate Award 2022-2023, and 2nd Place for the Control Award 2022-2023, and will be attending the State Championship in 2023.  We were in first place for the "Connect" award at the Space Coast Championship in 2021.  We were in first place for the "Think" Award at the 2020 Space Coast Championship and attended the State Competition.  We were in second place for the "Control" Award at the Space Coast Championship in 2019.

In the INTO THE DEEP℠ presented by RTX and Qualcomm, which launches on September 7, 2024, FIRST Tech Challenge teams will dive their robots into the ocean's depths to explore the unknown and reveal its wonders.
